MAY 10TH 2008 ROOKIE TOURNEY RESULTS

We had a great rookie Tournament on Saturday at West End Paintball in Leicester, MA.  Seven teams competed for trophies and prizes in X Fire Paintball’s First Rookie Tournament of the 2008 season. 

84 games were held with each team getting to challenge every other team twice.  At the end of the first half (42 games) NHIP Crew and Candy Land Kids were tied with 505 points each. The Outlaws were in third place with 395 points. Evil was in fourth place with 320 points and Boston Instinct was in fifth with 220. Sixth place went to Demonz and seventh went to Luckus Enterprises. The second half  saw NHIP crew gain an additional 345 points to take first place overall.  Candy Land Kids gained 335 points to take second place. The Outlaws ended up with 755 points to take third place. Demonz moved up into fourth place and Boston Instinct took fifth with 435 points. Evil ended the day with 370 points and sixth place. Surprisingly Luckus Enterprises did very well in the second half. They scored 300 points in the second half not enough to recover from their weak start but a very promising second half. It was good to see that every team won at least three games.

The three top teams took home individual trophies for the players as well as prizes.

The next X Fire Paintball Rookie Tournament will be on Saturday, June 21, 2008, at West End Paintball.  To be eligible for this 3-person tournament players must be rookie players. They may not have played in any tournaments above the rookie level.

The entry fee for a team is $75.00 and must be prepaid at one of the X Fire Paintball stores one week before the tournament.
